Photo Gallery: Pathfinder Celebrates Autism Awareness Month with Hands!

Students and staff at Pathfinder School, one of three schools operated by the Allegheny Intermediate Unit (AIU) celebrated Autism Awareness Month by showing off the diversity of their hands -- and testing their principal's memory! During a special assembly, students gathered in the Multi-Purpose Room to see Mr. Nick Fratto (everyone at school calls him Mr. Nick) try to correctly place their hand cutouts in the right classroom board. After help from some students, Mr. Fratto got them all right! A big celebration ensued in the MPR and a ball was tossed around to celebrate.

Also, we can't NOT notice those snazzy Kindness shirts! Parents and staff ordered them just for this year's commemoration of Autism Awareness and the values held at Pathfinder: Inspire; Compassion; Thoughtfulness; and Respect!
