The AIU provides a variety of professional development opportunities for school district leaders.

Leadership Seminars

The AIU hosts monthly meetings with the Superintendents’ Advisory Council which review current federal, state and local issues that impact school districts. Annual professional development programs are held as well.

New & Aspiring Superintendent Support

The AIU offers support to new and aspiring superintendents through the Transitioning to the Superintendency program. The program is designed to ensure they are provided a seamless transition into their new roles and have the services and supports needed to be successful. School Board Seminars

The AIU provides biannual professional development for new and veteran school board directors addressing a range of topics and management-related issues.

PA Inspired Leadership

The Pennsylvania Inspired Leadership (PIL) Program is a statewide, standards-based continuing professional education program for school and system leaders. The comprehensive, cohort-based program is focused on developing the capacity of leaders to improve student achievement. Learn more.
