Principal's Message
Welcome back!
I hope you all had a grea summer and are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year. This past year and a half has been challenging for all of us, but I truly
believe we are coming out of it stronger and more resilient. Last year, the Sunrise family met the challenges head on and we were able to stay open to in person instruction for a majority of the school year and we are prepared to do the same this year.
At Sunrise, we take great pride in creating an educational atmosphere where students can learn in a caring, supportive, and stimulating environment. This school year we will continue to focus on standards-based instruction and the instructional focus this year will be on English/Language Arts and Career Readiness skills. We also hope that our Sunrise Works program gets up and running again, allowing our students to generalize their jobs skills in the community settings.
There is new administrative leadership this school year, but the character of the program has not changed. At Sunrise, we believe in student centered programming and making sure that every child succeeds.
I look forward to working with each and every one of you! If you need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out!
Sincerely,
Marisa Esposto
Principal, Sunrise School
