Carson Valley Children's Aid - Fatherhood Program
Located at the Norristown Family Center, this program is dedicated to encouraging and empowering dads to be men as well as fathers through a week-to-week coaching program. Participants receive a fatherhood certificate after completion of 6-weeks of 2-hour group sessions. An anger management certificate may be obtained after completion of a 3-week series of 2-hour group sessions. Light dinner provided at no cost. Must be registered to attend.

Our center is a community hub where parents with children can connect with other parents. We offer services, programs, and activities that reflect, respect, and enhance the culture of the neighborhoods where families live, work, and play. All programs and services are free and voluntary.

Children, Youth and Families
Father Engagement/Support Specialists (FES) are skilled men and women who collaborate with Fathers who have involvement with CYF. We listen to dads and we will meet them at a time and location convenient for them in order to help them navigate the child welfare system. Help obtain needed services and will be a support to Fathers, while assisting them in learning to advocate for themselves in court, at school and at CYF meetings, with the intention of a greater presence with their children.

ELECT Program for Pregnant & Parenting Students
Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 offers case management, education, career/vocational, and social resources and supports for pregnant and parenting students. Dedicated case managers provide individualized support to assist a parenting student balance and to stay in school to graduation.

Franklin Center of Beaver County: Men and Boys Initiative
The Men and Boys Initiative of Beaver County is a program designed to help men improve fathering skills and help fathers establish a deeper connection with their children. We also mentor young men ages 10-17 dedicated to living, learning and growing into manhood through the applied principles of FAPCO: Focus, Accountability, Perseverance, Commitment and Ownership. Our program also includes: Effective Parenting and Healthy Relationship Discussions; Housing, Legal, Employment and Custody Referral.

Green County Family Center
GCFC provides in home services to parents and children throughout Greene County. By providing the necessary support and encouragement for parents and caregivers, which will help their children develop during their critical early years of life. With the evidence-based Parents as Teachers program, families are able to strive to increase health and children development, increase the success of family units remaining intact and promote healthy relationships between children and parents.

Pittsburgh Public Schools Early Childhood Education Male/Fatherhood Involvement
Male/Fatherhood Involvement (MFI) is part of Pittsburgh Public Schools' Early Childhood Education Program. MFI encourages Men and Fathers of infants and preschoolers to champion the cognitive, reasoning skills, speech and language, social/emotional skills of their children during outreach style events scheduled in various regions several times per school year for enrolled families. Continued participation helps to create a community of males which feel supported in their fatherhood role.

Providence Connections Family Center
A comprehensive early childhood education and family support service center offering programs to address the needs of Northside families. Programs include childcare, Head Start, after-school care, family engagement activities, home visiting services, family development programs, parenting classes, fatherhood engagement programs, and community support services.

South Hills Family Center
The center offers child development education, parenting classes, and socialization opportunities for families with children of all ages. Mental health services are provided in the form of individual counseling and regular support groups for parents and seniors. The walk-in office addresses basic needs through connections to other internal resources and outside referrals, with more intensive service coordination available through the ISAC (Immigrant Services and Connections) program.

Teen Parenting Program (Project ELECT)
Education Leading to Employment and Career Training (ELECT), works in collaboration with the Family Support Centers and school districts to assist pregnant and parenting teens with continuing their education and access to support services.
The program places a significant focus on education, training and employment goals which further assist teens as they move toward independence.
