Title II, Part A, is a 100% federally funded supplemental educational program that provides financial assistance to improve the skills of teachers and the quality of instruction in core academic subjects in public and private elementary and secondary schools.

Fully Virtual Educator Induction Program

AIU offers a PDE-approved, two-year educator induction program for Level I professional educators, long-term substitutes and educational specialists.

Public school districts, charter schools, private schools and other school entities across Pennsylvania trust the Allegheny Intermediate Unit to assist their novice educators in acclimating to the demands of working in a contemporary school environment.

Offered in a convenient online format, the program guides participating educators through a series of critical topics under the facilitation of subject-matter experts. Upon successful completion of the educator induction program, educators earn Act 48 hours, a digital badge and a letter of completion that can be applied toward Level II certification.

*The AIU Educator Induction Program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
