In partnership with Point Park University and BloomBoard, the AIU helps paraprofessionals grow into certificated special education teachers.

Designed just for school districts, these programs help working professionals complete their coursework while on the job. Paraeducators and other support staff receive the instruction, coaching and classroom experience they need to grow into certificated teachers. Paraeducators who already possess an associate’s degree can earn a fully-accredited bachelor’s degree in special education.
