Pittsburgh Food Banks

Baby Formula Bank

The Greater Pittsburgh Infant Formula Bank is a support service to help families struggling financially or find the formula to feed their babies. Search for bank locations or find out where their mobile truck will be next.

Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank

Search for local diaper banks, distributions, and more through the WPA Diaper Bank. This organization also distributes period products and incontinence diapers.

Origins (Formerly TryLife Center): Parenting Education and Baby Items

Origins provides free pregnancy tests, STD tests, ultrasounds, education, one-on-one support, and material items. By participating in their education and support services, you can earn points that can be spent on material items for you and your family. Both in-center and virtual one-on-one support is available.

Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP)

MATP provides free transportation to and from non-emergency medical appointments for people on Medicaid. You may qualify to use MATP if you are eligible for Medicaid and you are a resident of Allegheny County. MATP can provide free public transportation (bus) ahead-of-time tickets; reimbursement for your use of public transportation; or a private and free door-to-door service, when medically necessary, via shared-ride or ride-hailing service.
