Our Talent Acquisition Team visits high schools throughout Allegheny County to promote internship opportunities to students interested in careers in education. The AIU’s Extended School Year during summer months offers an excellent opportunity for both high school and college students to gain valuable experience working with students with teacher assistants and other professionals.
Interns are required to apply for and complete an Act 34 PA Criminal History, Act 151 PA Child Abuse and in some cases an Act 114 FBI clearances. The cost of these clearances average $60.00 for all three.
