Nearly 300 students from 18 schools across Western Pennsylvania gathered at Highmark Stadium for the SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 Western Pennsylvania Regional Series and JR. BRICKLAYERS 500 competition on Sept. 25.

Students explored career pathways in masonry, construction, and materials management, with the event featuring hands-on learning experiences led by industry professionals and interactive vendor sessions. In the afternoon, the students had the chance to compete against their peers in bricklaying competitions, as well as watch the professional competition.
