The ELA Symposium is the Reading Achievement Center's annual workshop addressing a critical need for strengthening teacher practice that improves student achievement. This session, for ELA teachers in grades 3-5, will focus on key qualities of writing instruction at the paragraph level and up. This in-person event is free to member district educators.
Participants will examine instructional practices to support learners with dyslexia including a multisensory, structured literacy approach. Time will be devoted to exploring accommodations that provide access to grade-level content for reading and writing.
