Students & Families
Project Education Leading to Employment and Career Training (ELECT) works in collaboration with the AIU's Family Support Centers and school districts in Western Pennsylvania to assist pregnant and parenting teens with continuing their education and access to support services.
The program places a significant focus on education, training, and employment goals that further assist teens as they move toward independence.

Additional services are provided through various collaborators such as Head Start, Magee Women's Hospital, WIC, and YWCA.
Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in ELECT, a teen or young adult must be:
- Pregnant or parenting
- In high school or working toward their GED
- No older than age 21
