The ELA Symposium is the Reading Achievement Center's annual workshop addressing a critical need for strengthening teacher practice that improves student achievement. This session, for ELA teachers in grades 6-8, will focus on key qualities of writing instruction at the paragraph level and up.
In this training session, educators will explore the critical role of structured breaks in fostering student focus, well-being, and overall academic success. Participants will delve into evidence-based strategies for designing and implementing effective break routines that optimize learning environments as an intensified Tier 1 strategy and as an assigned Tier 2 intervention.
