Through two in-person training days and two one-hour networking sessions, this series moves use of the DLM from a PASA assessment score report into a practical tool for instruction and IEP development. Participants will use student specific data alongside the DLM Essential Elements, Linkage Levels, and Mini-Maps to identify starting points for instruction, build learning progressions, and design meaningful goals, objectives, unit and lesson plans aligned to current performance.

Day 1 focuses on interpreting prior year PASA DLM results into instructional entry points, connecting Essential Elements across grade levels, and building unit and lesson plans using high leverage precursor skills. Participants will also be introduced to the updated Science Essential Elements.

Day 2 builds on implementation experience and shifts into refining IEP Present Level of Academic & Function Performance (PLAAFP) statements, developing measurable annual goals and short-term objectives, and using DLM linkage levels to strengthen alignment between assessment data, instruction, and IEP development.

During both days, dedicated workshop time allows for both independent work time and collaborative problem solving to ensure instruction is grounded in meaningful, accessible learning progressions.
