Section 504 Basics: Understanding Service Agreements and Accommodations
The Allegheny Intermediate Unit’s Training & Consultation Team is offering two professional learning opportunities designed to strengthen district and building-level implementation of Chapter 15/Section 504 supports.
This second opportunity, Section 504 Basics: Understanding Service Agreements and Accommodations, is a 2.5-hour virtual training designed for educators and school personnel responsible for writing, reviewing, and implementing Section 504 service agreements. This session provides a foundational understanding of Section 504 requirements and focuses on developing meaningful, individualized accommodations, documenting supports appropriately, and ensuring compliance with Chapter 15 and Section 504 regulations.
