Description

Interested in learning about hydroponics and how it can fit in your school? This workshop will lead you through how hydroponics works, various types of systems, and STEELS-aligned lessons and projects that engage and excite students. Learn how to utilize the engineering design process with students to solve problems involving environmental literacy and sustainability and come ready to enjoy our own hydroponically grown salad bar for lunch!

**This workshop will take place at the NEW Fluxspace Experience Center where participants will have an opportunity to interact with a Flex Farm hydroponics system.

In addition to on-street parking, limited free parking is available in a gravel lot across from the Fluxspace Experience Center.
