The AIU-operated schools are dedicated to the academic, social, and vocational development of students with disabilities in Greater Pittsburgh. Programs are designed to meet each student's unique needs through individualized and adapted curriculum, community partnerships, and communications training. We provide a safe, yet challenging, environment that builds critical skills that support successful student-to-adult life transition. Our caring staff of educators provides a secure environment so students can learn to be independent members of their communities.
