Penn Hills After-School Program

The After-School program provides a safe and structured place for children of working parents in the Penn Hills area.

Helps children in grades K-6 to improve:

  • Academic achievement
  • Social emotional learning
  • School attendance

Children receive:

  • Educational support
  • Enrichment activities
  • Recreation
  • Cultural opportunities
  • Character development classes
  • Opportunities to increase their relationships and interactions with adults as well as their peers

Activities include after-school programs, homework assignments, and community engagement activities. Children are transported to the center from their respective schools.

Monthly progress reports are mailed to teachers and guidance counselors to highlight the children's strengths and areas in need of additional supports.
