Teachers and Business Leaders Learn Together in ECP
The Educators Corporations Partnership for STEM Learning (ECP) program is an innovative approach to partnerships between school districts and businesses. The goal of ECP is to help K-12 educators understand the requirements of the modern workplace, and how to better prepare students for STEM-related college majors and careers. With input from corporate visits, active engagement in STEM learning and collaborative discussions, school district teams deepen their understanding of STEM in the workplace. The program consists of six day-long immersive corporate visits, communications with the corporate partners and a day of final presentations.
Partner4Work and AIU's Math & Science Collaborative are collaborating with corporations and partner school districts:
Franklin Regional School District
Gateway School District
Keystone Oaks School District
Kiski Area School District
Shaler Area School District
This program is made possible through the generous funding provided by the PA Department of Labor & Industry Teacher in the Workforce grant.
