    Classes for English Language Learners

General ESL classes help English language learners improve their English and focus on citizenship, workplace or academic skills. Family literacy classes guide parents to develop their own literacy skills and work with their children on early learning activities. To attend these classes you must be an adult, age 18 or older. Students in family literacy classes must also have a child that is eight (8) years old or younger. If you have any questions about registering or general information, call 412-281-4494 or email adulted@aiu3.net

Volunteers for the English Language Learners Program

Do you want to help the students in our program? We are always looking for ways we can improve what we do. We can use one-on-one tutors, class aides, office helpers, conversation partners, cultural navigators, content experts, translators and guest speakers. If you are interested and believe you can help us or the students in our program, please fill out the volunteer interest form. The program supervisor will reach out to you and schedule a meet and greet/answer any questions that you have. You must be 18 years old or older to volunteer with us.
