SUMMARY:Writing Assessment and Intervention
DESCRIPTION:This training will provide K-3 general education teachers\, special education teachers and interventionists with evidence-based practices for supporting students’ writing needs at the tier 2 and 3 level. Participants will learn about effective practices for assessing and developing intervention plans for writing deficits. Participants will be asked to bring samples of student writing to practice diagnosing and planning intervention for a particular student. \n\n\n\n\nParticipant Information\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTarget Audience: General education teachers\, special education teachers\, interventionists & coaches\, reading specialists\, school psychologists\, building principals\, and other building level administrators \nAct 48 Hours: 5.5 Act 48 hours will be awarded at the end of this training \nCost: There is no cost to attend this training (series)\nRegistration Priority: Educators who work for LEAs in the AIU3 region will have priority registration
