DESCRIPTION:The Allegheny Intermediate Unit’s Training and Consultation team is hosting a VIRTUAL book study.\n\n\nJoin colleagues for a collaborative book study of The Kids Who Aren’t Okay The Urgent Case for Reimagining Support\, Belonging\, and Hope in Schools\, where participants will explore Ross Greene’s evidence-based approach to understanding and supporting students with behavioral\, social\, emotional\, and mental health challenges. Through guided discussions and reflection\, participants will examine the Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) model\, challenge traditional views of student behavior\, and learn practical strategies for building relationships\, identifying skills that students may need to be taught\, and partnering with students to solve problems. This book study is designed for educators\, administrators\, school mental health professionals\, and support staff seeking effective\, compassionate approaches to meeting the needs of all learners.
