DESCRIPTION:Please join the Allegheny Intermediate Unit’s Training and Consultation team for this IN-PERSON training. \nEffective behavior support requires more than responding after a problem occurs. It requires understanding why behavior happens and intentionally designing conditions that promote student success. Teachers will learn to create environments that support learners’ diverse needs in order to prevent or reduce the likelihood of interfering behaviors occurring. Using a functional lens\, teachers will identify patterns related to stressors\, unmet needs\, and skill deficits that contribute to behavior.
