  • Accounting Manager - Norwin School District

    The Norwin School District is seeking a self-motivated and team-oriented individual who possesses strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to become an integral part of the leadership team in one of the highest-rated school districts in Western Pennsylvania.

    Under the direction of the Director of Finance and Operations, the Accounting Manager will supervise all accounting functions of the school district. This includes general accounting, payroll, food service accounting, capital projects, and accounting under all special funds in accordance with the Pennsylvania Department of Education Manual of Accounting and Financial Reporting for Pennsylvania Local Educational Agencies (LEAs).

    The Accounting Manager will provide the Business Office with a full range of accounting services, including identifying, recording, measuring, classifying, verifying, summarizing, interpreting and communicating financial information including assets, liabilities, revenues and expenditures.

    The successful candidate is required to possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, with experience in PA School District accounting or CPA certification preferred. Anticipated salary range is between $65,000 and $75,000 annually, and will be commensurate with experience.

    School Psychologist Intern - Baldwin-Whitehall School District

    The Baldwin-Whitehall School District is seeking applicants for a School Psychologist Intern.  This position for the 2022-2023 school year requires applicants to possess a Bachelor's Degree and concurrent enrollment in an accredited collegiate program that will lead to a PA School Psychologist Certificate.

    The School Psychologist Intern is responsible for psycho-educational evaluations of children referred for eligibility for special education programs and for the re-evaluation of students in special education programs. The psychologist shall serve as a consultant to district personnel in the development and implementation of instructional and child management programs while under the supervision of a Baldwin-Whitehall School District Licensed Psychologist.

    The successful candidate in this 10-month position will work 8 hours per day on scheduled student days for the 2022-2023 school year.  Three additional Professional Development days will be provided.

    Salary and benefits: $23,000 and 3 paid personal/sick days
