Center for Creativity

  • The Center for Creativity is an initiative of the AlU, serving 42 school districts throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania.  The Center provides K-12 educators with instructional resources, grant opportunities, and professional development as they integrate STEAM learning and literacy into teaching and learning practices.

    What We Do

  • transformED

Combining a dynamic, collaborative space with access to new technology, educators can tinker, explore, and learn how others are using technology in the classroom.

  • STEAM Lending Library

The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation Lending Library is stocked with class sets of STEAM educational technology that can be borrowed at no cost.

  • STEAM Grants

Open to regional schools to support STEAM learning in innovative and creative ways, grants are awarded on a yearly basis and culminate with an annual showcase.
