The AIU assists district administrators implement and use school planning tools in improve instructional practices.
Pennsylvania Value-Added Assessment System (PVAAS)
PVAAS is a type of data that provides districts with a measure of student progress. Growth data can be used in conjunction with achievement data to gain a richer understanding of the educational experiences within a school.
Training sessions will be offered at the AIU for school and district personnel on the following dates:
Introduction to PVAAS -- 2013-2014 dates not established.
Protocols for Principals and Teachers to Put PVAAS to Use (one day session) -- 2013-2014 dates not established.
