Special Education Supervisory Services

School districts contracting with the Special Education Program for direct program operation receive administration and supervision as part of the service package.  Special Education supervisors are part of a broad effort at the AIU to ensure continued professional development throughout the year.  Contracts for services are flexible to ensure that supervisors are available to participate in ongoing development that brings new learning to the district.

School districts operating their own special education programs may contract the Allegheny Intermediate Unit for supervisory services and the Special Education Program will tailor services to meet district needs.
