Alternative Education Schools
The AEP's schools provide instruction, school counseling, and advocacy for children and youth in grades 7-12. Students may or may not be affiliated with the Juvenile Court or the Office of Children, Youth and Families. Credits are earned based on semester grades and a pre-approved memorandum of understanding with home school districts. The program operates with the objective to have students successfully complete their assigned time in Alternative Education and return to their school of origin.
