The Human Resources Office administers employment policies, procedures, and state and federal employment laws and regulations for the AIU.
Services include: human relations conciliation; recruitment and staffing of professional and non-professional positions; orientation of new employees; management of benefits and compensation plans; and substitute services. The Employee Assistance Program provides supervisors, individual staff members and administrators with additional office resources and support for personal and professional needs. The Human Resources office utilizes the AESOP internet-based service for absence reporting, and to provide on-line information regarding entitlement data to all employees.
In partnership with Staff Development Services, Human Resources operates the CPE Tracker system to monitor certification requirements for the Pennsylvania Department of Education professional certification and Act 48 compliance.
